An idea conceived by a Florentine family
The Bargellata was born from the union of two minds—a restaurateur and a chef, both Florentines—who, much like Antonio di Gherardi and Piero di Frosino, the two innkeepers of the Locanda del Buco, the tavern that stood in the heart of the city between the 13th and 14th centuries, bring traditional dishes to life every day, keeping the bond between past and present alive.
La Bargellata è una serata di incontri, di sguardi, di risate e di riscoperta di antichi sapori, dove l’uno accanto agli altri, in una seduta conviviale, che richiama la tavola medievale, i commensali percorrono un viaggio nella tradizione toscana e fiorentina in specie.
